Conference Introduction
Inaugurated in 1986, the International Conference on Modern Industrial Training (CMIT) aims at serving as a platform for engineering education institutions and industry to share and exchange their views and ideas on the engineering human resources development, engineering hands-on education and its new concepts, pedagogy, developments and reforms.
CMIT is a triennial event. For the past 30 years, it was held successively in Guangzhou, Nanjing, Wuhan, Xi’an, Jinan, Beijing, Chongqing, Hong Kong, Nanjing and Dalian. In October 2015, the 11CMIT jointly organized by Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) will be held in Beijing, China.

ETC has become an important base and high quality education resources of engineering practice education.
