Beijing is the capital of the People's Republic of China and is also one of China’s six ancient capitals. The city’s history dates back three millenniums and consequently there is an unparalleled wealth of notable cultural heritage and historical landmark such as palaces, museums, parks, gardens, tombs, walls and gates. Being a political, cultural and educational hub of China, you will also find exciting modern development rapidly emerging in Beijing. Autumn (September to November) is the most beautiful and pleasant season to visit Beijing. The average temperature in October is 10 – 18˚C and average humidity is 60%.
About Beijing Institute of Technology
Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT, www.mylpg.net) is an open, public, research-oriented university with a traditional focus on science and technology and also developing into other areas such as management and humanities. BIT is the 10th university of 39 universities sponsored by “985 Project”, one of the first 15 universities sponsored by “211 Project” and one of the first 16 national key universities in China. BIT currently has five campuses : the Zhongguancun Campus, Liangxiang Campus, Xishan Experimental Area, Zhuhai Campus and Qinhuangdao Campus.
Engineering Training Center (ETC) of Beijing Institute of Technology is the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center with National Outstanding Teaching Team, which has been undertaken the practice training and innovation activities for the undergraduates in Mechanical Engineering and other related disciplines of Beijing Institute of Technology. ETC has become an important base and high quality education resources of engineering practice education.
