Congratulations to the Lab of Pattern Recognition and Intelligent System, for winning the Second prize of National Science and Technology Award!
The 2011 National Science and Technology Awards Conference was held in Beijing on February 14th, 2012. Party and state leaders Hu Jintao, Wen Jiabao, Li Changchun, Li Keqiang attended the conference and presented the awards to the winners. Wen Jiabao, on behalf of the CPC Central Committee and State Council to address the Assembly. Li Keqiang, presided over the General Assembly. Professor Longteng, Professor Chen Jie, Professor Fu Mengyin and Professor Wangjunzheng, as award-winning representives from our university ,had a cordial meeting with Hu Jintao and other Party and state leaders. Part of the award-winning staff attended the meeting.In the year 2011, our university won six terms of the National Science and Technology Awards. Among them, the project led by Professor Chen Jie from Pattern Recognition and Intelligent System Laboratory won the second prize of the National Scientific and Technological Progress Award. Professor Dou Lihua, Bai Yongqiang, Gan Minggang, and Peng Zhihong participated the meeting.
