Bioengineering integrates many basic and applicable subjects such as biology, chemistry and engineering to become a complex specialty. Research fields are focused around design, production, management, teaching, and research for new techniques or new product exploitation in biotechnical and engineering fields.
Graduates can be engaged in jobs of theoretical research or engineering design, or in research and application in the fields of biotechnics or biology.
The core courses include Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Circuits and Electronic Engineering, Cell Biology, Principles of Chemical Engineering, Gene Engineering, Biochemical Reaction Engineering, Protein and Enzyme Engineering, Microbiology Engineering, Bioseparation Engineering, and basic experiment courses. Special courses include Biochemistry, Gene Engineering, Biochemical Reaction Engineering, and Bioseparation Engineering.
