2024 BIT International Summer Programs Introduction In recent years, Beijing Institute of Technology successfully held on-campus and online programs in winter and summer, with more than 500 students each year. In 2024, BIT will offer a series of on-campus summer programs that match your interest in areas of STEM, arts and management.
Specifically designed for students with an engineering background. BIT provides lectures and laboratory works in cutting-edge areas such as the Artificial Intelligence of Things, Wireless Communications & Microwave, Smart Vehicles, along with Chinese language and culture practices.

The primary purpose of this summer school is to provide students with a comprehensive exploration of materials science and engineering in the field of renewable and sustainable energy. Participants will develop a well-rounded grasp of fundamental concepts and practical applications of the current electrochemistry, advanced batteries, hydrogen energy devices, fuel cells, electrolyzers, and photovoltaic devices by actively engaging in lectures and laboratory sessions.

The program will provide you with valuable economic and management insights and skills in an intensive summer session. You will gain a solid grounding in the fundamental principles of international trade and entrepreneurship, and apply your new knowledge to case studies based on real-world scenarios. In this program, conceptual and practical knowledge will be developed through analysis at both macro and micro levels.

This program is targeted toward teenagers looking to experience 800 year-old ancient sports and improve their Tai chi level. Directed by professional coach, world Tai chi champion, Huifang QIU, the program will give technical and tactical instructions and provide an opportunity to play with and against other top players. Incorporating movements, breathing exercises and meditation, Tai chi can improve your posture, breathing, concentration, and inner peace. By learning Tai chi in China, you can also gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and philosophy.
