Dear friends,

I have joined this group about three years ago when i graduated from the training in AsiaWorks and from time to time, i do write in and share topics of common interest. many topics of common interest discussed and shared herein do contribute to my own growth and for these past few years, i began to recognise where i am located - physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Each of us come from different places and state, different background and different history, but as time passes by, i had accepted the reality that despite all the arguments, unhappiness, unfairness that is always present, each of us can bring different gifts to this group and the community at large. the resentment, resistance and rejection stories and sharing that i have read in the digest allowed me to be more resolute in who i am and i get more compassionate toward others.

Though not based in kl all these while, i try to spend as much time in local events whenever possible, the lpg community with all its weekly, monthly and yearly activities have one important impact for me, at least to experience the group and support its growth; to continue resolutely in expanding this network of good intention and vision

It is important to remain frank and honest in sharing and listening to what others have to say. through such exchanges, we can build unity. a keen sense of humor that this group have also allows me to overlook the becoming, understand the unconventional, tolerate the unpleasant, overcome the unexpected and outlast the unbearable.

As i have shared in the past before, my upbringing was tough and dreadful. some may say life is never meant to be easy, but easy of what? i always believe that plu community have a perseverance and confidence level in themselves and i believe that lpg community with the rest of other community groups that exist, always strive to do something, somehow, someway, somewhere for all of us.

Lastly, let's remind ourselves that it is not surprising how many people go through life without ever recognizing that their feelings toward other people are largely determined by their feelings toward themselves, and if you're not comfortable within yourself, you can't be comfortable with others.
