LPG
has been using yahoo groups for the purpose of communicating with
its members ever since the setting up of the LPG-community yahoogroup
on 11th Nov 2001. As of April 2005 the membership of the LPG-communtiy
yahoogroups stood at around 1160 members.
Over
time the LPG-community yahoo group has not only been an effective tool
for keeping the members updated about LPG's latest activities but it
has also served as a useful forum for members to give feedback, express
opinions, highlight problems, discuss issues, make personal sharings,
as well as communicate and remain connected to the rest of the of the
community. Not to mention in reality, it is a platform where the queens
will be queens and machismo ideals are expressed peppered with cheap
swipes of chastisement, along with great balls of fire thrown at one
another amongst the great varieties of cyber personalities in the group.
Therefore, we do not see a need to have a chat/forum section in this
website as this function is more than adequately served by the LPG-community
yahoogroup.
However
realizing the wealth of interesting contributions we have received through
the LPG-community yahoogroup we decided to compile and archive some
selected topics and it's responses in quotes as well as useful articles
to be highlighted in this archives section of this LPG website.
